Description field follows the following format:

Room Number – Employee Name

For example, Brett Anderson’s computer in room AH013 has the following description:

 

In the case of classroom computers, the description field follows a similar format, but with ‘Instructor’ or ‘Student’ after the room number. For example: 

AH009A – Instructor

Another example follows:

 

In the case of boardroom computers, the description field also begins with a room number and a dash, followed by a name and the word ‘Boardroom’. For example: 

AH214 – Exec Boardroom 

or 

1079 – Allan Markin Boardroom


 

User:

The Outlook Global Address Book pulls departments, titles, phone numbers, and office numbers from here, so it’s important to use consistent and official Department names and titles.

Description field follows the following format:

vm or ld (lowercase) for Vermilion or Lloyd, followed by the user’s department name, then their title, and ending with their employment end date; formatted month (written out) day, then a slash and the last 2 digits of the year. If they are a permanent employee, they will have instead “No End Date” written out.  Each of these sections should have a dash between them. 

For example, Brett Anderson the permanent Vermilion Information Technology employee would have the following description:

vm – Information Technology – Computer/Network Technician – No End Date
